Major League Soccer in the United States is earning a reputation for being a high-scoring spectacle more often than not, and LAFC's clash with Philadelphia Union was no exception.
2019's MLS Most Valuable Player, Carlos Vela, was on the score sheet in this six-goal thriller.
🎥 LAFC 3-3 Philadelphia Union
Union took the lead on 29 minutes but were pegged back by Carlos Vela just nine minutes later. The U, as they are affectionately known, led for a second time through Jakob Glesnes' piledriver of a free-kick from around 30 yards, only for Diego Rossi to make it 2-2 just a minute later with a beautiful curler.
The young visitors then hit the front for the third time but LAFC showed their character once more to square it up on 71 minutes. The game ended 3-3.
We'll definitely be watching more MLS games this season, especially with Victor Wanyama now on the Montreal Impact roster.
