Ghana’s midfield maestro Thomas Partey is set to visit UEFA Champions League champions Liverpool in England tonight.
The Spanish giants carry a 1-0 aggregate lead from the home first leg win at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, but walking into Anfield this evening is an unnerving prospect.
"We have to be focused one hundred per cent. We know it will be difficult."
With the Corona virus continuing to cause havoc on European football, success against Liverpool will mean Partey’s Atletico will be playing the final eight round behind closed doors.
"As a player it is nice to play with fans, but if it is behind closed doors and it helps to lower the risk, we don't care," added the Grobo Odumasi-born player.
"We have to concentrate on our work. [Playing behind closed doors] does not depend on the players, but on the organisers. I am trying to help my team."
