Following UEFA's decision to postpone the EURO 2020, Manchester United has issued a statement saying they "will continue to play an active role in discussions through UEFA and will monitor developments closely."
UEFA decided to postpone the Europa and Champions Leagues due to the coronavirus outbreak but no return dates have been communicated.
In its statement, United said: "We note the decision to postpone Uefa Euro 2020 to hopefully allow domestic and European competitions to come to a conclusion as a priority.
"Clearly coronavirus has created an unprecedented set of circumstances and the health and well-being of fans, players and staff has to come first. We will continue to play an active role in discussions through Uefa, the ECA and the Premier League and we will monitor developments closely.”
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side currently leads 5-0 from the first leg of their last 16 tie against LASK Linz.
