πŸ“ˆ English Premier League discipline stats in 2019/20

Football, like the rest of the world, continues to experience difficult moments as the Coronavirus continues to bite.

The Premier League and other major leagues across Europe are currently suspended, with some scheduled to resume from April 4th.

Discipline is a major aspect of the sport, as lack of it can easily hand an undue advantage to opponents during matches.

The introduction of VAR in the league has helped officials in making decisions, with incidences that could be easily missed in the past by match officials now thoroughly reviewed.

Arsenal almost dropped points when captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was red-carded in January against Crystal Palace, but luckily the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Prior to the postponement of the league, Chelsea missed midfielder Jorginho, who was serving a two-match suspension after accumulating 10 yellow cards.
