Rumours of Miltun Scredojevic working without a Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) contract has former Chipolopolo coach Wedson Nyirenda expressing disappointment.
Sredojevic began his Zambia tenure last month following stints with South African giants Orlando Pirates and Egypt’s Zamalek.
“When you are in a foreign land, the first thing is you want to feel secure and at home, you want to learn the language and culture but then you start encountering problems which look like you are not welcome,” Nyirenda told FarPost.
Nyirenda believes the Serbian coach needs to be worrying over purely football-related issues rather than outstanding contracts.
“A coach needs to have a free mind at all times. We have read here and there that the coach has not signed a contract and if that is true, then it is very unfortunate.
“We have some crucial games coming our way so if we are serious, we should clear things as soon as possible so the man can work with a free mind,” cautioned the former Baroka FC coach.
