Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has sent a message to football fans across the world, urging them to unite against the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Spaniard further asked people to listen to guidelines provided by authorities in order to beat the virus, which has humbled the world to its knees.
"We miss football. We miss the life that we had a few days ago but now is the time to listen, to follow our scientists, doctors, and nurses," he said.
"You are my football family and we are going to do everything possible to make you feel better. We’ll come back from this stronger, better, kinder…and a little bit fatter. Stay inside, stay safe."
The coach spoke as Manchester City's launched a new website that will give fans all the latest on the team training, home activities and general news on the virus.
The website will also have videos from the coaching staff as well as content meant for kids, who are currently home as a result of schools being shut.
The football world, just like the rest of the world has been hit by the pandemic, with major leagues across the world suspended.
The English Premier League is expected to resume on April 30th, subject to advice on the situation.
