Kariobangi Sharks midfielder Sven Yidah is on the verge of sealing a move to Tanzania giants Yanga SC.
Yidah whose current deal with Sharks is near completion is expected to leave the club in June with rumours rife that he hasn’t been impressed by the bench role he has experienced at the club in recent month.
The player has been conspicuously missing in the last four matchday squad and sources close to the club have intimated to Futaa that a section of the players wants out.
The rumours were fueled by Yanga SC team manager Dis Masten who welcomed Yidah to the club through a post on his Instagram account.
Another source closer to the club told Futaa that Yanga has been after the signature of the player and his imminent arrival at the club has been approved by the club’s Papy Tshishimbi.
“Tshishimbi had requested to leave the club since he felt the players around him were not doing enough to compliment his efforts. He requested that the club sign another workaholic and was impressed when Yidah’s name was proposed,” the source said.
Yidah is one of the longest-serving players at Sharks having made 97 appearances in all competitions since joining from Ligi Ndogo.
