Zambian striker Obrey Chirwa has signed a one-year contract extension at Tanzania Premier League side Azam FC.
Chirwa had signed a one-year contract with the Tanzania side in June last year and was due to elapse at the end of June before the two parties agreed to renew it for a further year.
The striker, who signed the contract in the company of Azam FC's chief executive Abdulkarim Amin, said that he was looking forward to a great year at the club.
"I will continue to do well and this year 2020 and impress Azam fans and I just ask them to come to the stadium and support the team in numbers," he said.
The Zambian striker is Azam FC's leading goalscorer with 11 goals in all competitions. He has scored eight goals the league, two in the Mapinduzi Cup while one goal during CECAFA Club Championship
