APR have been crowned the Rwanda Premier League 2019/20 champions after the Rwanda FA declared the season over due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The federation, in consultation with clubs, made the announcement on Friday and handed APR their record-extending 18th title. The military side topped the table with a seven-point advantage after 23 rounds of matches.
At the other end, Gicumbi FC and Heroes FC will be relegated to the second division.

The best two teams from the second division league will be promoted to the top tier after the play-off games which will bring together the top four from Pool A and Pool B as per the season’s first-leg.
The 2020 edition of the annual Peace Cup tournament, for men and women, have been null and void, while all youth competitions have also been indefinitely postponed.
Football activities in the country have been suspended since March 15.
