Manchester City Women have announced the appointment of Gareth Taylor as their new manager.
The club announced on Thursday that the former Wales international has agreed a three-year contract to them ahead of the new season.
The 47-year-old is not a new face at the club, having led City’s Under-18s for the past three seasons.
He has also been involved with the club's Under-16s, and he brings along tons of experience with him.
He will succeed Nick Cushing, who is set to switch to New York City FC.
Cushing spent six trophy-laden years with the Manchester City Women, and Taylor will be eager to follow in his footsteps.
Taylor has almost 650 appearances in all competitions under his name, having had a fairly successful career, playing as a striker.
