Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have joined the race to sigh Hearts left-back Aaron Hickey, BBC Sport reports.
The German side will have to fend off competition from clubs across Europe, including Aston Villa and Bologna, Sheffield Wednesday and Celtic.
The 18-year-old has entered the final year of his contract at Tynecastle, with Hearts valuing him at £1.5m.
Further reports indicate that the Bologna's bid has already been accepted and Hickey has been in Italy touring the club's facilities and training grounds.
However, Bayern have also invited the Scotland under-17 international next week for a tour of the facilities.
Hearts were relegated from the Scottish Premiership last season, and begin their Championship campaign in October.
