English Premier League side Manchester City have completed the signing of Ferran Torres on a five year deal from Valencia.
City has been in the market for a winger following the departure of Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich and after a series of war from clubs who were interested in the Spaniard, they seem to have finally landed their man.
In a statement, City said: “Manchester City have completed the signing of Ferran Torres from Valencia, subject to international clearance. The 20-year-old has penned a five-year contract keeping him at the Club until the summer of 2025.”
The player said: “I am so happy to be joining City. Every player wants to be involved in attacking teams and Manchester City is one of the most attacking in world football.
“Pep encourages a really open, aggressive style, which I love, and he is a manager with a proven track record of improving players. To have him overseeing my development is a dream.
“City has won plenty of trophies in the last 10 years and I hope I can play a role in continuing that success.”
Torres made 44 appearances for Valencia last season, scoring six goals in the process.
