Thomas Muller has backed his teammate Robert Lewandowski to take center-stage over Lionel Messi when Bayern meet Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals on Friday.
The Polish forward has been in fine form this season, scoring a whopping 53 goals in all competitions so far.

His recent brace against Chelsea on Saturday night took him to 13 goals in only seven Champions League games this term.
It’s never easy to out-shine Messi but Thomas Muller believes Bayern will help Lewandowski do just that when they clash on Friday the 14th of August.
“Messi also played very well today. But it’s up to Lewy and us to answer this question in Lewy’s favor on Friday.” Muller was quoted by the Daily Mail after his side’s 4-1 victory against Chelsea.
Regardless, Muller insists Bayern will not take Barcelona for granted when they meet.
“Barca may not have won the Spanish championship and they have certainly revealed some problems.”
“But anything can happen in these knockout games. Any run can end there if you have a bad day.”
