Chelsea are set to join rivals Manchester United in a bid to acquire Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel's signature this summer.
Schmeichel whose father Peter played for Manchester United in his heydays could potentially see himself heading to Old Trafford following months of being linked with the side.
According to The Times, Frank Lampard is monitoring the Denmark international's movements as he looks to bolster his goalkeeping department.
The 33-year-old has become a household name at King Power Stadium, a Premier League title in 2016 and a total of 339 appearances nine years later.
It is yet to be seen if he will remain with The Foxes or take the risk and move to another Premier League club.
