Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams has confirmed that he has contracted coronavirus.
The player took to social media to reveal he was among the six players and staff of the club, who tested positive for the novel virus.
Inaki further revealed he has no symptoms but was picked out following recent checks ahead of the club's pre-season.
He is set to undergo the necessary self-isolation guidelines that have been outlined to control the spread of the deadly virus.
“Today they confirmed that I have tested positive in the PCR test. I am asymptomatic and I feel fine. It is time to be at home in isolation until I overcome the virus. I really want to join the pre-season,” Williams posted on his Twitter account.
Willian was one of the key players for Bilbao as they finished 11th during the 2019/20 season, playing in all 38 games scoring six goals and providing two assists.
