Arsenal has completed a deal for the signing of Gabriel Magalhaes according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners will pay €30m including add-ons for the Lille defender, who is reportedly due to fly to London on Monday to sign a contract until 2025. His official unveiling will come next week.
It had been reported on Saturday that the player had arrived in London for medicals but other tabloids claimed that Arsenal Premier League rivals Man United made a late bid for the player; a move that might have delayed the acquisition.
The player had attracted interest from Serie A side Napoli SC too but Arsenal matched the Italian side’s offer of €26m plus €4m add-ons.
