Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman has been allowed go out on loan at Rotherham United, the club has confirmed.
The player's development was hit by a broken leg he sustained in November 2018, even though he is fully recovered now and featured 10 times for League One Bristol Rovers in the second half of last campaign.
He heads to a familiar area, having spent time there with Sheffield United and Leeds in recent seasons.
Blackman has been with the London club since the age of 12, winning the FA Youth Cup and the Under-21 Premier League crown.
This will be the eighth loan of the 26-year-old's career, having previously had spells with Middlesbrough, Ostersunds, Wycombe, Sheffield United, Leeds, Vitesse Arnhem, and Bristol Rovers.
Blackman could make his debut for Rotherham in their Carabao Cup first-round tie at Salford City on Saturday, 5 September.
