Arsenal are a step away from completing the signing fo Lille's Gabriel Magalhaes after the player underwent medicals in London on Monday.
The 22-year-old is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Gunners, who reportedly beat competition from a host of other Premier League and Italian teams to his signature.
Arsenal are said to have paid £25 million for the Frenchman, who impressed for the Lille during the 2019/20 season.

Manchester United rivaled Arsenal for Gabriel's signature, with reports indicating Lille had accepted bids from both Everton and Napoli.
His signing means the Gunners will have a new-look defence next season, with William Saliba also expected to feature after returning to the club following a loan at St. Etienne.
In addition to the duo, Arsenal have also signed Cedric Soares and Pablo Mari on permanent deals following their successful loan agreements.
