Italian side Inter Milan has confirmed manager Antonio Conte is set to remain as the head coach ahead of the new season.
Reports emerged that Conte will leave Inter Milan after they suffered a 3-2 loss in the hands of Sevilla during the Europa League final. On Tuesday, Milan released a statement backing Conte following reports from media that he could be on his way out this summer.
"The Club and Antonio Conte had a constructive meeting today focused on continuity and strategy, in which the two parties laid the foundations to continue working together on the Club's project," a statement from the club read.
Last month, Conte had revealed he will hold talks with the club over his future but now the Italian is set to stay after the club's backing.
