Midfielder Sven Yidah has confirmed that he is leaving Kariobangi Sharks after a four-year stay.
Yidah joined Sharks in 2016 from Ligi Ndogo and has been a cog at the team where he has been part of the Kenya U23 team.
The combative midfielder was part of the team as they gained promotion to the Kenyan Premier League and won the FKF Shield; a feat that saw them represent the nation in the CAF Confederations Cup in 2018.
While confirming the news in a Tweet, Yidah said: “My time at Kariobangi Sharks has come to an end today. I am grateful for the support I have received from the management, coaching staff, my fellow players and our fans throughout the time that I have been here.
“From January 2016 when I joined this project we have done a lot together. I am happy to be part of the history-making teams that saw us earn promotion to the Premier League, winning the first major trophy in FKF Shield Cup and many other great things, together.
“I have learned a lot as a player from this family and for this reason, I wish the club all the best in the future.”
