The Polish police force has reportedly apprehended Robert Lewandowski's agent for allegedly threatening the striker following an ongoing dispute over monies owed according to reports.
The investigation is currently underway to determine the extent of the threats against Lewandowski after it emerged that his former agent, Cezary K. attempted to extort him of 20 million euros ($23.67 million) as per Polish PAP news agency.
According to the Polish law, the surname of the alleged cannot be revealed to the public pending investigation.
The Bayern Munich top goalscorer is believed to have lodged a complaint against his former agent early in October while the former representative also countered with his own lawsuit.
Cezary K. is of the belief that the Poland international owes him money in the region of 39 million zlotys (8.52 million euros, $10 million dollars).
It remains to be seen the extent of the investigation in Poland.
