Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he wants to remain at the Etihad despite being linked with his former club Barcelona.
Guardiola is on Barcelona's radar once again with the Catalans candidate Victor Font planning to raid City off their coach if succeeds in taking charge of the La Liga side. Following the resignation of Josep Maria Bartomeu, Font remains the frontrunner to replace the Spaniard with reports suggesting he wants to bring back Guardiola to the Nou Camp.
The 49-year-old's contract with City is set to expire at the end of the current season but is hopeful of extending his stay.
"I am incredibly happy here. I'm delighted to be in Manchester and I hope I can do a good job this season to stay longer," he said.
The Citizens will travel to Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon to take on Sheffield United.
