Angel Gomes was right to leave Manchester United in the summer according to the player’s dad.
United allowed the player to leave for free despite being highly rated by the club and according to his dad, the player is on the right track.
"He accepted the challenge of Luis Campos to sign with Lille and relaunch his career at Boavista on loan from the French club, and now he is on the right track, he still has a lot to show.
"Angel managed to show a path to the future by being one of the youngest to make his debut for Manchester United when the coach was Jose Mourinho, and that also helped a lot," Gil Gomes told TSF.
The 20-year-old signed a five-year deal with Lille this past summer and was sent on loan to Boavista and has been a breath of fresh air to the team where he scored and assisted in the 3-0 win over Benfica on Monday.
