Roberto Firmino set to feature for Liverpool after missing training

Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino was not involved in Tuesday's training session but he could potentially start for the Reds against Atalanta on Wednesday night.

The Reds will be looking to repeat another riot over the Serie A side at Anfield after they had thumped them 5-0 in Italy earlier this month.

Jurgen Klopp will be without the services of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez due to injury and Firmino was already being placed as a doubt.

However, according to Liverpool Echo, Firmino missed training due to personal reasons and did not pick an injury as was first thought.

Mohamed Salah is now back in action after recovering from Covid-19 and with Firmino expected to feature, Klopp's attack sets to be a dangerous one for the opposition.
