🤖 CR750: Seven & a half centuries and counting

Cristiano's glittering career now seems to be an exercise of how many records he can break before he ultimately calls time on an astonishing career.

The most successful footballer in Champions League history, Ronaldo has won the European Cup five times.

He's scored 102 goals for Portugal, making him the most prolific European footballer of all time. Seven more strikes for A Seleção and he'll draw level with Iranian legend Ali Daei as the most prolific international goal-scorer in the game's history.

He's won domestic league titles in England, Spain & Italy, and the European Championships with Portugal in 2016. You name the accolade, individual or collective, and Cristiano has probably won it.

His goal in the 2008 Champions League final against Chelsea, in many ways, is a visual emblem of Cristiano Ronaldo the player, towering above all those who attempt to challenge him as they look on in vain. Ronaldo is and has been a force of nature for over a decade and a half.

Last night, he hit the back of the net for the 750th time in his professional career.

Cristiano's next challenge, which he will relish, is a derby clash with Juve's city rivals Torino. The Bianconeri's Serie A title challenge hasn't started well. They're unbeaten after nine games but five of those have been drawn, don't put it past Ronaldo to take it upon himself to kickstart their title defence in earnest this weekend.
