Cavani could equal record for impact off the bench against Wolves

Edinson Cavani could equal the Premier League record for impact off the bench when Manchester United play Wolves on Tuesday night.

The Uruguayan has been impactful off the bench for Ole Gunnar Solskajaer's men, with his latest assist coming during Saturday's match away to Leicester City

Cavani is one of only six players whose first five Premier League goal involvements have come as a substitute.

Only Lomana Lua Lua, Theo Walcott, and Erik Nevland have had their first six goals and assists as a sub.

Meanwhile, United will assess Victor Lindelof ahead of the match, following the recurrence of his back injury against Leicester on Boxing Day.

United though could welcome back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who missed the last two matches with a knock.

Ole Gunnar's men have been in imperious form in recent games and will be looking to extend their home unbeaten run in the league against Wolverhampton Wanderers to 10 matches.

Wolves are yet to lose to Man Utd though since they gained promotion two seasons ago, winning once and drawing thrice.

They will however be aiming to avoid three away defeats since April 2012.
