Laliga giants FC Barcelona have confirmed that the latest Covid test results have returned 19 negative cases.
The cub had been forced to cancel their Tuesday morning testing session after it was reported that two members of staff tested positive for COVID-19 last night.
The results mean that the members of the first team were passed fit for training as they gear for their Wednesday Laliga clash against Athletic Club.
An official statement from the club noted: “Following the protocol established by LaLiga the members of the first soccer team have carried out new PCR tests this morning.
“The results of these tests have been negative. Therefore, the first football team will train this afternoon at 18:00 CET. The press conference of Ronald Koeman will also take place at 19:45 CET.”
Barca is currently sitting fifth on the log with 28 points; ten points below leaders Atletico Madrid.
