KCB continued with their fine run in the FKF Premier League following a 1-0 victory over Bidco United in a match staged at Kasarani Stadium.
It was a slow start for both sides as they exchanged possession without causing threats to both goalkeepers.
Bidco United had their chance when Stephen Waruru received a beautiful pass, leaving him one on one with goalkeeper Joseph Okoth but the shot-stopper made a brilliant stop to deny the hosts from taking the lead.
There was an injury concern for Bidco after Emmanuel Mogaka went down and was attended by the medics and was allowed to continue.
Just before halftime, Bidco created a good chance after Gathu and Mogaka exchange some cool passed. Gathu delivered a good ball into the area that found Waruru, however, his effort was parried by Okoth.
In the second half, the hosts attacked from an offside call, and Brian was free down the right in the opposition box. The forward had a cutback and with David Kalama failing to clear the ball that gave Reagan Otieno the chance to put the ball past Okoth.
The Bankers remain at the top of the table with 18 points, six above second-placed Kariobangi Sharks.
