Mathare United forward Klinsman Omulanga believes his side can create chances and get goals when they take on Uliniz Stars on Wednesday.
Mathare travels to Nakuru to take on Ulinzi at Afraha Stadium in their next FKF Premier League tie. The Slum Boys will be up against one of the teams that have had a good record at the back so far this season. The Soldiers have only conceded two goals since the start of the season but Omulanga believes his teammates can create opportunist to score and secure maximum points.
"The key to this is to stick to our game plan and play the way we as Mathare are renowned. Ulinzi plays a completely different style to ours and if we move the ball around with purpose and play as a team then I reckon we come away with something from there," he said.
Omulanga believes Mathare’s nervy start to the season is now becoming a thing of the past and Ulinzi should be wary of the team they will come up against tomorrow.
"We started the season badly but responded quickly to not allow the negative results to take a toll on us. We now feel like we are understanding more of one another on the pitch and I expect this to improve with every game that we play. We will be better tomorrow than we were against Bandari I can assure you that,” he shared."
A win for Salim Ali's men will see them move out of the relegation zone as they are currently 17th on the log with four points from four games.
The match will kick off at 3:00 PM EAT.
