Tottenham Hotspur is eyeing £50M rated Brighton defender Ben White as they seek to address their defensive problems.
Spurs have struggled defensively this season and see the 23-year-old as a solution with the likes of Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez having failed to impress boss Jose Mourinho.
According to reports from SpursHQ, Mourinho and his team developed a budding interest in White over a year ago, when the central defender was on loan at Leeds with the player having been valued at £30 million then.
The player who is naturally a central defender can also play as a defensive midfielder something that is believed to be an attractive option for Mourinho who wants a proper partner for Pierre Hojberg in the club’s midfield; the player also able to slot in left-back.
But Spurs are not the only team interested in the player with Leeds, who he helped gain promotion to the Premier League, and Liverpool all said to be keen on the player.
Two other Premier League giants are keeping tabs on him too #spurs https://t.co/gp9v5PLSbY
