Manchester United fans are set to enjoy the extended minutes of Amad Diallo against Real Sociedad in the Europa League.
Since making the move from Atalanta to Manchester in January €21,00 m, the 18-year-old Diallo has made three senior camoes - but tonight could be the night for a real look at the nippy winger.
Speaking to the club ahead of hosting Real Sociedad in the Europa League last 32, Daniel James offered insight into what Diallo has shown on the training grass.
“Amad has come in and, as a young lad, he’s been unbelievable in training,” James told Man United’s media.
“I mean his professionalism [is very good] and he’s settled in straight away, I’d say, do you know what I mean? We see his quality in training, he has unbelievable feet, but we’ve seen he also presses well and wins the ball back, which is exactly what we want,” added the Welsh winger.
With a 4-0 lead from the first, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to give Diallo at least 45 minutes.
