Manchester United defender Eric Bailly believes the controversial Paul Pogba has a grossly misunderstood public image.
The 27-year-old Pobga joined United from Juventus on a world record fee of €105,00 m in 2016, but his time at Old Trafford has delivered more setbacks than his football class on the grass.
Many frustrated onlookers have especially found issues with the Frenchman’s body language.
"Paul Pogba is always happy, he portrays one image, and if you don't know him you'd say that this guy doesn't care, he's not concentrating or fixing on what he needs to do," Bailly told the popular journalist Guillem Balague via YouTube as posted by Goal.
"But he's not like that at all.
"He's very professional and works really hard. People look and say he doesn't care, but that's just not true for me. You've got to know him to really see what type of person he is.
"Above everything, he is a really hard worker, a professional player,” the Ivorian concluded.
Meanwhile, Pogba is expected to miss another week or two with a thigh injury.
Coming next for United is Real Sociedad in a Europa last 16 second leg at Old Trafford on Thursday.
