AFC Leopards and Nairobi City Stars won their respective games as the Football Kenya Federation Premier Lague continued on Wednesday 24, February 2021.
Leopards were up against Ulinzi Stars at the MISC Kasarani and they didn't disappoint with Peter Thiong'o scoring the all-important goal late in the second half to hand coach Patrick Aussems his first league win.
At Moi Stadium Kisumu, City Stars picked all three points after registering a 2-0 win over hosts Western Stima in a match played at Moi Stadium.
Goals from Erick Ombija and a penalty from Peter Opiyo in the first half was all the visitors needed with the win-now propelling them to tenth on the log with 16 points.
In the other games of the day, KCB dwindling fortunes continued after they were forced to come back twice in the game to hold Sofapaka to a 2-2 draw. Lawrence Juma continued with his goalscoring form bagging a brace in the game with KCB forced to come back twice in the game courtesy of goals from Victor Omondi and Reagan Otieno; the bankers having lost a penalty earlier in the game when captain Abuko had his effort saved by the Sofapaka keeper.
