English Premier Lague giants Manchester United have entered into new contract talks with Eric Bailly as they seek to keep the Ivorian for a longer period.
Bailly has been one of the outstanding players for United under the regime of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but injuries have meant that has been forced to sit out in many games.
The 26-year-old defender has missed nearly 230 days over the past year-and-a-half at United but according to The Sun, the Ivory Coast international-hose terms runs until June 2022-is now in early discussions over a new contract
The new deal is thought to be around three-years in length but the ex-Villarreal ace is facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford if he does not sign fresh terms by the summer with United ready to listen to offers for the center back who has been a fan favorite at the club.
Eric Bailly: “ I don’t like talking to forwards [winding them up]. That’s what they say but it’s not for me, I don’t like talking during the game really. If I commit a bad foul I say sorry and that’s it.” [@GuillemBalague] pic.twitter.com/kclsL8KvKU— United Zone (@ManUnitedZone_) February 25, 2021
