Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskajer says he is prepared to face an in-form Chelsea on Sunday evening.
The Reds will be at Stamford Bridge for a key clash against Thomas Tuchel's side, who have been improving the last couple fo games.
They are yet to lose under the German coach, and Solskajer knows they pose a serious threat, especially since only six points are between them.
"Chelsea are always one of the favourites every season for the last 20 seasons. We’ve prepared well, we’ve managed to get a few players off [rested on Thursday night] so we should be ready for this game," he said during an interview on Saturday.
"You can see a certain style he (Tuchel) wants to play. He’s had fantastic results since he came and of course, we know we’re playing against a team with confidence and they’re in form. He’s a manager who can do different things so we’ve just got to prepare for every scenario possible.”
Knowing the Blues could cut the Reds' six-point lead by half with a win, Solskjaer wants his side to pull away with a positive result at the Bridge.
“We’re looking forward to it of course. We want to make sure Chelsea are behind us but we’re also looking ahead and above us so we need the points.”
United are currently second on the log on 49 points, with Chelsea fifth on 43.
