Leicester ace Harvey Barnes stretchered off against Arsenal in terrible loss

Leicester City were plunged even further into an injury crisis as Harvey Barnes was substituted on a stretcher during the clash with Arsenal.

Five minutes into the second half at the King Power Stadium, Barnes pulled up as he stretched to reach a Youri Tielemans pass and went down grimacing.

He received treatment on his left knee before a stretcher was called on and the winger’s leg was put into a brace, Cengiz Under coming on in his place.

City will hope it is not as serious as it looks, but if Barnes is ruled out, he will become the seventh player on the sidelines.

James Maddison, Dennis Praet, Ayoze Perez, Wesley Fofana, James Justin, and Wes Morgan are already out, and City are having to plug the gaps with players that would not usually start.

Barnes has been one of City’s best players this season, and has scored seven goals since Christmas to keep the team winning despite Jamie Vardy’s goal drought.
