Eintracht Frankfurt striker Andre Silva has played down speculations linking him with a move to Premier League side Manchester United.
Silva has been in fine form for Frankfurt this season, netting 20 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions. Reports have emerged the Portuguese could sign for United this summer but the forward has distanced himself while stating that such links give him 'more motivation to work'.
Speaking to O Jogo, Silva said, "I've heard rumours, but that is it. Rumours are rumours.."
"At the end of this season, it's something that gives me more motivation to work – it's a sign that what I have accomplished has borne fruit, and the path has been good."
The 25-year-old initially signed for Frankfurt on loan from AC Milan in 2019 before making the deal permanent a year later.
