🇰🇪 Ulinzi Stars' Byron Odiaga to miss Nzoia Sugar tie through illness

Ulinzi Stars will miss the services of Byron Odiaga when they take on Nzoia Sugar on Sunday in an FKF Premier League encounter.

Ulinzi Stars will be aiming to end their recent poor run in the KPL when they travel to face Nzoia at Sudi Stadium. The Soldiers suffered their third consecutive defeat following a 1-0 loss to league leaders Tusker on 5th March.

Boniface Muchiri scored the only goal that separated the two teams in the second half, handing Ulinzi their fourth defeat of the season.

"Byron Odiaga is recovering well after a bout of malaria," a statement from the club read.

"He is the only player not available for selection for tomorrow's game against Nzoia Sugar in Bungoma. Skipper James Saruni and Harun Mwale are back from national team duty."

Benjamin Nyangweso's men are currently 13th on the log with 17 points after 15 matches.
