Beckham insists Inter Miami can attract Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar

Inter Miami, David Beckham's new Major League Soccer team, is optimistic about attracting superstars such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid winger is helping to create his new club in Florida, which is now run by Phil Neville.

Inter Miami, who finished 10th in their first MLS season last year, have already signed players like Gonzalo Higuain and Blaise Matuidi, and Beckham has stated his desire to bring in the best players available.

"When we announced Miami, there was always going to be talk about what players we were going to bring in, whether it was Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar," Beckham told ESPN.

"There was always going to be those discussions. I actually don't think it's a tough one for players to decide, to be honest, because it's a great place.

"Miami is a great city that has that pull on players who have been playing in Europe that are big stars, and I think we have a real opportunity."

Inter Miami, who recently announced the signing of former Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs, will host Beckham's former club Los Angeles Galaxy on April 18 to kick off their MLS 2021 campaign.
