Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum has refused to give up on his team’s chances in the Champions League.
The Reds were beaten 3-1 by Real Madrid on Wednesday with the second leg of the tie slated for Anfield next week and despite the Jurgen Klopp side being given no chance in the tie owing to their form this season, Gini believes they can still dump put the Laliga giants.
"It's always good to have an away goal. Unfortunately, they scored one after we scored. So I have to say it would have been easier if it was 2-1 or we scored (to make it) 2-2. Now we have to score two and make sure we don't concede.
"It's not impossible, we've shown in previous years, but it's difficult," Wijnaldum told the club’s official website.
