Romanian official Octavian Sovre became the center of a huge storm of controversy when he asked for Erling Haaland’s signature on Tuesday night.
Following Borussia Dortmund’s 2-1 loss to Manchester City in a first leg UEFA Champions League quarter-final, Sovre hurried after Haaland in the tunnel to request Haaland’s autograph, which was seen on television and thus erupting strong disputes.

It has now since been revealed that Sovre asked for the autograph in support of an autism centre.
"That autograph is for a noble cause," SOS Autism Bihor Association president Simona Zlibut said, as per the Daily Mail.
"Maybe people don't know, but Tavi (Sovre) is directly involved in supporting this association. He has helped us a lot all these years!"
