Manchester City 1-2 Leeds United: Ten-men Peacocks shock Guardiola's side at Etihad

Leeds United shocked Manchester City at the Etihad following a 2-1 victory on Saturday evening in a Premier League encounter.

Stuart Dallas gave Leeds United the lead minutes to halftime before Liam Cooper was a red card for a foul on Gabriel Jesus. In the second half, Ferran Torres leveled the scores but Dallas was on target once again in the stoppage time, giving Leeds an important away victory.

Three minutes to half time, Leeds United got their opportunity and took it well. Costa beat Cancelo before managing to bundle his way past the City defender down the flank. He teased up Bamford who set up Dallas from 20 yards and the midfielder pinged a controlled shot into the net via the help of the post.

Red card

City attacked and Liam Cooper was in a position to stop Gabriel Jesus with a dangerous tackle and the referee awarded visitors the foul, giving the Leeds ace a yellow. VAR was called into action as Jesus remained down in pain and yes, it showed that Copper's studs clearly caught Jesus on his knee. The centre referee had to change the card to red and Leeds was down to ten men.

City were super patient, controlling the ball but Leeds were firm. However, in the 75th minute, Pep Guardiola's men were level through Ferran Torres who found the back of the net from close range.

Dallas double

City left players up the pitch in search of the winner themselves but Alioski's through ball sent Dallas clean through and his finish is as cool as you like.

A defeat for Man City but Guardiola's men need 11 points to secure the title.
