Brazilian superstar Neymar Junior has intimated that he will be staying at Paris Saint Germain.
Neymar was set to sign a new deal with the French giants earlier in the year but some finer details in the deal were yet to be finalized with the latest reports having indicated that the player was still keen on returning to Barcelona.
In at interview with France Football, as relayed by Mundo Deportivo, the player admitted that he owed part of his happiness to PSG and Mbappe.
“I owe a large part of my happiness at PSG to Mbappe. He (Mbappe) has made me learn about the French way of being. He has explained the French mentality to me. I owe a large part of my adaption to him,” he said.
“From the beginning, Mbappe’s way of being came to me. Kylian is a very happy and kind person with everyone. He is a great person. It is the reason why we understand each other from day one. In addition, I have had the opportunity to see him train, of course. I have been able to observe his speed, his repertoire of dribbles, his intelligence to verify his humility to continue evolving.
“I have always said he was out Golden Boy. Speed alone has nothing to do with it. You have to be smart to use it correctly and Kylian does it. He’s not just smart and fast, because he also has a huge dribbling repertoire.”
Neymar is expected to sign soon his new contract with Paris Saint-Germain until June 2026, huge UCL bonus confirmed too. His entourage just announced to France Football: “Neymar wants to stay at PSG. He sees that the club is growing. He likes the project”. 🇧🇷 #PSG https://t.co/LMnrpctSkx— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) April 12, 2021
