πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ Breaking: Dortmund become the first club to reject Super League

Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have reportedly turned down signing for the controversial UEFA Super League.

Following the agreement of many European superclubs to form the Super League, Dortmund finally responded with a decision to turn down the invitation.

The German club, together with Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig and France's PSG, were due to make late calls on becoming part of the new event.

"The board members of the European Club Association (ECA) came together for a virtual meeting on Sunday evening, where it was agreed that the board's decision from last Friday still stands,'' said Watzke, going on to add: ''This decision dictates that all clubs wish to implement the proposed reforms to the UEFA Champions League. The ECA board members took a clear stance in rejecting plans for the establishment of a Super League," said the club's statement.

Additionally, Leipzig have always confirmed following in the footsteps of BVB, while Bayern and PSG are yet to break silence.
