Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, believes Phil Foden is fitting into new shoes in the Cityzen’s squad.
The 20-year-old England international has delivered seven goals and five assists 25 games this year, which include influential goals against Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
"This guy [Foden] is growing. His influence in our games is massive,” Guardiola told Sky Sports after the Villa win, as cited by Goal.
“He's becoming a serious player. Phil right now is becoming such an important player. His influence in the final third is so important,” the Spaniard concluded.
Coming up next for Foden and City is the Carabao Cup final against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
