Manchester United will prioritize a striker in the summer transfer window with reports emerging that they made a bid for England international Dominic Calvert Lewin.
United is still unsure of the future of Edinson Cavani who is said to be on his way to Boca Juniors and according to Stretty News, the club is already enquiring about strikers who fit their bill ahead of the coming window.
The reports claim that despite the club successfully negotiating a new contract with popular defender Eric Bailly earlier this week, a new center-back is still a possibility.
Stretty reveals that a recent offer was made to Everton for the attacker Lewin with his club not ready to entertain any offers for their England international below £80m; the club having been linked with Harry Kane too.
The club wants a new defensive partner for Harry Maguire with Villarreal’s Pau Torres being a genuine target and the player the club remains in frequent contact with. The Spaniard however is not expected to move to Old Trafford before this summer’s European Championship.

However, it is a striker who is being viewed as the club's biggest priority.
