Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has admitted coaching midfielder N'Golo Kante is a dream come true.
Tuchel, who took over at Chelsea following the sacking of Frank Lampard and has enjoyed his start to life at Stamford Bridge. Speaking ahead of the Real Madrid clash in the Champions League second leg tie, Tuchel says he dreamt of managing French international Kante.
Kante, who is well known to be shy but one amazing player on the pitch will be lead his side against Madrid, and Tuchel is backing the midfielder to turn up the volume when they host the Spanish side.
"He is the guy you need to win trophies, that is why I am so, so happy he is here. I have dreamed about this player, fighting for this player at any club I was coaching at and now he is my player," he said.
"For me, he is an example, an unbelievable input for any team in the world. He will be key."
"He is a nice guy, almost a shy person. He is quiet, he likes his own quality time and he is not loud. I see him smile a lot, very shy and polite but I am so happy that players like him exist. It is a pleasure to watch."
"What he is doing with his mentality, a real helper, always gives everything to help anybody on the pitch and such a nice, humble and quiet guy."
The Blues settled for a 1-1 draw with Madrid away and will welcome the Los Blancos on Wednesday in the return leg of the Champions League semis.
