Matte Guendouzi is set to miss the remainder of the season with a foot fracture, Hertha Berlin have confirmed.
Guendouzi joined Berlin at the start of the current season on loan until the end of the campaign. He was set to return to the Emirates once his loan with Berlin expires. However, the Frenchman could return earlier after he suffered a metatarsal fracture to his foot during his side's victory against Freiburg on Thursday.
The French international underwent scans of his foot injury and now will not be available for selection for the remaining matches.
The 22-year-old has netted two goals while providing three assists for the German side this season.
