Barcelona missed out on the chance to go top of the LaLiga table following a 3-3 draw with Levante on Tuesday night.
Lionel Messi gave Barcelona the lead capitalizing on Alba's deflected cross that came off Miramon before it fell to the Argentine in space just inside the box. Messi was off-balance as he hit the shot on the volley, but he stroke it cleanly and it beat Fernandez before kissing the back of the net.
Dembele doubled Barcelona's lead, working under pressure from Duarte as he drove into the box. The Frenchman was left with an empty net and made no mistake, making it 2-0.
In the second half, Gonzalo Melero pulled one back, connecting well from Miramon's cross who beat Ter Stegen with a powerful header.
Minutes later, Levante drew level taking full advantage of Messi's poor pass that was intercepted. Roger picked out Morales and he took a touch before drilling his shot across goal to pick out the far bottom corner to make it 2-2.
It didn't take long and Barcelona restored their lead through Ousmane Dembele who scored his second of the night. Griezmann turned away from Miramon at the edge of the box but the defender's touch rolled the ball back into the path of Dembele. He set himself before drilling his shot over Fernandez and into the back of the net.
Seven minutes to stoppage time Sergio Leon canceled Dembele's goal and the game appeared to end in a 3-3 draw.
The draw now leaves Barcelona second on the log with 76 points, one behind leaders Atletico Madrid who have a game in hand.
