Borussia Dortmund are the winners of the 2020/21 German Cup after beating RB Leipzig 4-1 in a match staged at Olympiastadion on Thursday evening.
Jadon Sancho opened the scoring five minutes with a fine effort after cutting inside on his right foot to put the ball beyond Peter Gulasci. Haaland doubled BVB's advantage after 28 minutes after coolly slotting home before Sancho scored just before the break to put Edin Terzic's side three up at halftime.
Julian Nagelsmann had been hoping to leave RB Leipzig on a high ahead of his switch to Bayern Munich, but his hopes were dashed by a rampant Sancho and Haaland, with Dani Olmo's second-half strike a consolation.
The Norwegian added a fourth for Dortmund in the 88th minute to wrap up the game and secure a famous victory for BVB.
